Roddenberry and Rick Berman featured them in an episode of Next Generation.Calypso Jones wrote:https://rumble.com/v533xwi-who-has-alien-megastructures-and-dyson-spheres-on-their-2024-bingo-card.html

Re: Spring Garden
I have a northern mockingbird building a nest in one of my tall japanese maples. Just had some landscaping done around 3 sides of the house and i have to water these things every night. I noticed a tangle of little sticks in it at eye level 2 days ago...and i thought a bird had started a nest before they bought the tree to me. i left it alone, and the next day it was bigger and there were lots of little 6 to 8 inch sticks on the ground around the tree. So i left it and have just been watching. The bird mom and dad have been busy at work building it...it's a rough thing made out of those twigs and i thought it was not going to comfortably hold eggs and babies because it was so ..well..you can see through it.. Today there were lining the inside of it with moss. I wasn't quite sure i had the right bird because there are a number of gray and white medium sized birds...the nest was the clincher. Now i'm waiting on the eggs.
PLUS yesterday afternoon i have a little bird couple building a nest in my mail box. Actually it is an open box beside my actual mailbox, like a barn sorta, three sides, floor and roof and they put in a nest that is like a tunnel made of pine needles and other leaf material. I only have to identify it. Got a good look at them. Rust colored, long beak, smallish. very active. (Carolina Wren maybe) My bluebirds are all over the place, the house finches have another nest with babies in it now. The place is just a bird population explosion.

Re: Spring Garden
Gardening is a terrific hobby for my well-being.
Just spent a few hours with my hands in dirt :)
Started up 4 new wicking buckets.
Beans, zucchinis, cucumbers, eggplants.
we have not bought a tomato for a while, the new seedlings pop up all over the yard from the compost tumblers
