Then again, CJ, to this day I see posters around our age who are self-proclaimed conservatives stating that 'there hasn't been a real journalist since Walter Conkrite.
Add on that they think Ted Cruz should be a Supreme Court justice. <shakes head>

Then again, I guess that's not near as bad as not even knowing who the president of the USA is. Sheesh.

These kids are airheads. They're all valley girls...even the boys. I call them boys cause they are definitely NOT men.

There used to be a SELECTION process. College was expensive, and competitive.

You had to test well, entrance exams, later the SATs.

AND you had to either get a scholarship (someone else saw value in educating you, and paid for part of it) or pay for it (work, Bank of Dad, for a few, the GI Bill).

Now, if you apply, and are willing to borrow the $20k a year (FROM GOVERNMENT) you're in.

Know where the smart kids are going? The trades.

Valley Girls, morons, minorities...get in because of their skin color, and/or because they cannot do simple arithmetic. They cannot understand HOW LONG it will take to PAY BACK those $100,000 loans.

Especially on the kind of jobs offered to Gender Studies or Literature students.
