Fruit trees need to be sprayed like THS WEEK. Here in Virginia anyway.

Make sure to spray the trunk and bark well with insecticide to kill borers.
Especially plum trees.

Taters and maters for sure.
Maybe some eggplant and pole beans.

As of yesterday, the green houses here STILL had no plants. Tomorrow I'm going to stop at a feed store that sells seed potatoes, onion bunches, etc., and at least pick up some onion sets. Hopefully, they'll have Silver Queen corn seeds, and green bean seeds, too.

When it comes to bell peppers, there's only ONE place that carries California Wonders, and there's no sign of life there yet. Hmm

I have teeny tomatoes.
I planted some CW seeds but they were old and never came up. I'll have to buy 6 when I go to town.

My bucket potatoes look good. I stagger planted them so I can dig a few at a time.

Excellent idea for planting 'taters. I'm thinking there's not enough dirt, (we do not have anything worthy of calling "soil"), to go that route. Buying the stuff would be at formidable cost.
