Electric cars
Australian copper miner Oz Minerals is to trial the world’s first electric triple road train at its operations in South Australian as part of a project with electric truck conversion specialist Janus Electric and logistics company Qube Bulk.
The 12-month trial will feature a diesel truck converted by Janus Electric that is capable of hauling up to 165 tonnes – the potential weight of a triple road train – at a range of between 200kms and 400kms on a single charge.
It recharges in 4 minutes. They swap the battery over with a forklift.

Who has the fantasy of world domination? COMMUNIST CHINA! Who floated a 'spy balloon' over U.S. Nuclear locations? COMMUNIST CHINA! Over a week, AFTER it had sent back intelligence regarding our Nuclear locations!
Yeah, there won't be any 'electric vehicles' in my garage!

The whole electric vehicle push is a sham.
It's a "vehicle" to limit the reach of travel, keep you home where you can be monitored and tracked, make travel cost prohibitive, and enrich elite politicians and shysters like Al Gore.

I'm not going to rule out EVs. In a few years when people are getting rid of them for cheap, I may get one to drive around town. Especially if my solar is making more energy than I can use. But I'm not getting rid of my diesel Jeep anytime soon.

Re: Electric cars
We sorta made that mistake with an electric vehicle It's a glorified golf cart is what it is. It is frightening to drive on the road as far as i'm concerned. It's small and not as fast as they say they are. PLUS..the taxes and registration and tags are more expensive than a regular gas powered car though the elites will change that in time.
I'd like to get rid of the thing but who is stupid enough to buy it now.......oh...wait. I' may shine that thing up and put it online.

I wonder if they accounted for the roads some that isn't capable of handling such weight.

Ya' know my Son bought a 'hybrid' escape a few years back. The battery never did work right and to replace it would have cost more than the car was worth. He has bought gasoline vehicles ever since...

My son bought a Toyota hybrid a couple of years ago and he's never had a problem with it.
It's an awesome car and so so quiet.

Does the alternator charge the batteries when he's using gasoline?Red Lily wrote:My son bought a Toyota hybrid a couple of years ago and he's never had a problem with it.

Can he charge it for free at work! ?
Can he charge it at home on ( I don't think y'all have 110) 220v and if so, what does that cost?
I'm just curious.
