Mr. 2 found a hummingbird in his truck that couldn't find it's way out, 'cuz the window was only cracked open a wee bit. Poor bird was about dead. So he got it some sugar water, dipped its beak in it a few times, and swoosh!, off it few.

Have yall ever seen those moths that look like hummingbirds...act like hummingbirds? They're called Clearwing moths and there are several kinds.

they're small...people think they might be baby hummingbirds but baby hummingbirds do not fly until they are as big as their parents. The hummingbirds here are STILL feeding their broods.

I think their common name is a wasp moth or such like ?

When I was a kid, hawk moths would occasionally visit our garden and yard. They were cool but rare, perhaps because they were a delicacy to birds?
