Let meat warm up a bit in the kitchen before you cook it.
Makes it easier to cook it more evenly.

Let it rest for a wee while after you cook it.

Random thought about food.

stupid little vegan.     I heard something yesterday from friends.  They told me that vegans have a shorter life span than omnivore humans.

@Calypso Jones, I LOVE potato bread! Got a loaf of it sitting on my counter right now. What's wrong w/it? Random thoughts on cooking and cooking utensils 809917594
(FWIW, one of the ingredients is dehydrated potatoes.)

well...i'm glad there IS a way to make bread out of potatoes...we may need that. I just think potatoes are for potatoes, baked, fried, crisped, mashed, souped, scalloped, stuffed, loaded....

You left out shredded. lol Oh, and let's not forget Au Gratin. and there's those tater skins recipes.

Dang, there's near as many tater recipes as there are for chicken.

Thyme is a great herb used in the least of moderation. Especially dried as its more potent. It's a mainstay of many Cajun recipes.
I have plenty homegrown and dehydrated.

I prefer herbs like basil, oregano,  and dill.

Parsley coupled with green onion tops/shallot tops at the end of a cooking cycle rule the restaurant world.

Rosemary is the ticket. It's the scent of the gods.
I planted a small one from walmart 4 years ago right outside my front door when I moved here.  With Little to no care , it's huge. Falls over and continues to spread.
