We had a tent like annex which extended out from the car..
He and his father slept on camping stretchers whilst I slept
on the back seat of the car..
The annex covered a small portable barbque and our table and chairs...
We were in a caravan park at the time and used their
toilet and shower facilities.
We drove each day to and from work...
Worked from daylight til dark with a long break
in the middle of the day...
Id imagine nothing much has changed...
Farm workers would probably have to accommodate themselves
in a similar manner...
These days people just wont do what we did....
Softcocks.....

Very little [Manuel] labor these days. Except for planting sugarcane.
Most of them ride around in tractors that drive themselves and record everything.

I dont believe for one minute that we are short 600,000
"workers" due to a lack of migrants...
There are several underlying reasons which are too
controversial for the politicians or the media to even mention....

The workplace in Australia may well be short of many workers, but
the underlying reasons are controversial.
For example, we have diversification recruitment where standards
are lowered to appease the supporters of multiculturalism.
This is where there are numerous positions advertised and numerous
applicants are categorised into diverse groups....(eg Police or Military)
Diversification recruitment favours all those applicants from numerous
walks of life as for example, an indigenous applicant only needs
to be the best indigenous applicant to get the job.
The same applies to gays and lesbians.
The same applies to women.
The same applies to applicants from various cultural backgrounds.
For an Indonesian applicant (eg) to get the job they only have to be
the best Indonesian applicant....they dont have to be better than
all the rest...
Furthermore, people are leaving Police jobs in droves due to a
lowering of standards at the academy....due to DR
Women for example are permitted numerous attempts to pass
advanced driving skills..men are not...and so on...
Police leave their jobs due to incompetent recruits graduating
and being partnered with them.
Height and weight levels have been discarded...
Women in the military are given latitudes such as being able
to walk through an obstacle course and take as long as they like
to complete it.
Recruitment advertising for the military features women.
Women command naval vessels...
Women are given government portfolios due to a quota
system...not ability....
We are also hamstrung by the Anti Discrimination Act, the
Fair Work Act and the Workplace Gender Equality Act.
The WGE Act provides for workplaces with 100 staff or more
to be equally staffed by men and women.
People are looking for better jobs all over Australia due to
poor working conditions, low pay and tyrannical legislation.
It just isnt reported as such.
Rant concluded....

That's how things morph into a Failed State.

Everything quits working, and there's dozens of flavors of tribal resentment.

Wait a few months, until food and energy run out.

Paid parental leave for 26 weeks and 50% or more women in the
workforce will cripple the private sector.
Women in the public service who go on parental leave will not
be replaced...their co-workers will be conned into taking up the slack...
Under Gender Equality legislation businesses with over 100 employees
have to have half women half men.
26 weeks...
If this is "imposed" I would sell my business....
OR immediately downsize to 99 or less.....
This is just a talkfest to cover what Albanese is going to do anyway....
Its just a charade....

Worldwide, including here.

Us country types, many of us have some level of prepping. Many of us live in small communities or have tightly-knit circles.

The big-city residents, most of them live paycheck to paycheck, deep in debt...and don't know who lives in the next condo. THEY ain't gonna do too well. This lockdown thing was just a flavor...wait until even Walmart is stripped bare of food.
