What an absolute mockery of the judicial system...
Postpone a trial for a while due to possibility of the accused
not getting a fair hearing....
We've all gone mad....stark raving mad....

Thousands to become homeless when national rental affordability scheme
ends....
Why doesnt that surprise me....
We couldnt organize our way out of a shithouse....
Meanwhile, in a lame attempt to win votes...(go figure)
Morrison announces a ten billion dollar spend on a sub base
in eastern Australia, together with today...wait for it....
Another 4.3 billion dollars for a dry dock facility in Western Australia....
Thats a total of 14.3 billion dollars in those two announcements alone...
Meanwhile, Australians are faced with the possibility of living
in their cars due to lack of housing....
Morrison will lose the next election in a landslide.....
A landslide......

Billy, my question is, and I hesitate to even ask. Is there anyone else out there who can do a better job?billy the kid wrote:https://www.msn.com/en-au/news/australia/fears-thousands-will-become-homeless-when-national-rental-affordability-scheme-ends/ar-AAV6fzZ?ocid=msedgntp

A landslide......
We only have two parties to vote for...the Morrison led coalition and the Albanese led
Labor Party...the others such as the Greens and various Independents and minor parties will never ever
govern in their own right.
The problem as I see it in all elections in Australia is that the election simply becomes a popularity
contest...
Rusted on coalition voters will continue to vote for Morrison, and rusted on Labor voters will vote
for Albanese (or the member representing such party in their various electorates...)
Usually what happens in Australia is that the country becomes fed up with the current government
for a multiplicity of reasons and votes them out...(someone has to be blamed for everything and its usually politicians...)
(Righty so......)
In comes the new broom and if its labor we hold our breath....
Both parties are useless...always have been.....always will be....
Australias problem is our geographical position on the globe....
We are susceptible to overseas interests and our politicians sell out
to the highest bidder...
Half the country is owned by overseas interests...
Nothing will ever change in this country.....
As someone once said...we will never win this battle as the entire world is a battlefield....
And we have no leaders..
Sorry for the rant....nothing else to do to-day.....

Umm...why is the Morrison government suddenly chucking in 500 million bucks
into the rare earth mining sector.....
https://stockhead.com.au/resources/arafuras-muscular-south-korean-deal-highlights-critical-value-of-rare-earths/
Arafura Resources is being propped up by South Korea...
Only a few weeks ago Chinese mob Shenge Resources was going to buy
a 20% share in Australian rare earth mine Peak Rare Earths Limited..
https://www.afr.com/companies/mining/china-swoops-on-australian-rare-earths-junior-20220213-p59w2m
Lynas Rare Earth Limited is another mining company in Australia which
has operations in Malaysia...

I would wonder where our 500 million is actually going....and
who is it actually benefiting....I guess we'll never know...will we....
