If you ever get to Dallas, the steak is on me. Bring a chaperone if you like. If you are married, I'll have to insist on a chaperone.
Woo-Hoo! Anticipate a party of six!! Thanks!
I will provide a receipt!

Tonight I made pulled pork on kaiser rolls and, Cole slaw.
I've been thinking about pulled pork and coleslaw rolls since you posted this so I finally bought a boneless pork shoulder roast yesterday. I'll cook it sometime in the next few days.

My pork could use a good pulling, but it rathers forking. :)

Re: What's for Dinner
My appetite lately, hasn't been great. I made a sandwich with one of those frozen chicken patties, with lettuce and tomato.
Come to think of it, it was the first real, actual meal I had today.

You can have the best of both worlds, pull it for a bit first then then finish it off with a good forking, you'll never look back

Then you have to try making your own from scratch, or at least from almost scratch.Abby08 wrote:Red Lily wrote:I had a pastrami and tomato sandwich earlier which was pretty good too.
I love pastrami.
I cure brisket into corned beef. Takes about 5 days, and a bit of brine, and you have glorious corned beef. I take the "flat" and slice it into Reuben Sandwich meat. Then, I smoke the point for about 5 hours, to make pastrami. Slice thin.
I use Pastrami to make Sammie Burgers. Instead of Bacon, I use pastrami. Mustard, pickle, etc.
