What's for Dinner Empty What's for Dinner

Post by Red Lily Tue Aug 10, 2021 12:44 am

Every board needs its own "What's for Dinner" thread so here it is Laughing Pictures optional.

Bacon and cheese fritters, mixed green salad with pear in a light balsamic dressing and carrot couscous.

Dunno about dessert. Ice cream with that chocolate topping that goes crackly when it hits the cold and sprinkles maybe. Decisions decisions.

I had some barbecued chicken wings and, a handful of peanut M&M's.

I like the peanut M&Ms but I'm almost out of snacks and have to do a shopping run in the next few days so I might put them on the list.

I like to keep something sweet on hand, just a handful of the M&M's or, cinnamon almonds, usually takes care of the sweet craving.

I love sugar coated almonds and roasted almonds but last time I crunched down on them I broke a tooth. So I haven't bought any for awhile.

I was eating some cinnamon almonds one day and, my husband asked me if I was eating rocks.

They are VERY crunchy!

I don't  really plan dinners,  anymore.

It's usually something that's easy to heat up, toss in the oven and,  whatnot.....or, just a sandwich.

I'll sometimes cook a lot of chicken wings, then have them for dinner and,  lunch the next day.

Lately,  the only time I cook a real meal is, if I put a roast in the crock pot,  I'll add some potatoes and  carrots.

I'm too tired to cook.... or eat.

But I feel like eating shrimp egg rolls .
Or either shrimp or crawfish stuffed pistolettes.
