Chicken Fried Steak

Well not exactly. Lol.

I've been wanting to cook chicken fried steak and white gravy for a while. I mean a fresh breaded veal cutlet(I have a machine) fried fresh with homemade gravy. Not frozen CFS and gravy from a jar. Although those are very good.

But I guess that will have to wait.

I got to thinking about the frozen ones. Then I decided to cook some breaded chicken nuggets. Lol.
Tired of dipping them in honey or Ketchup/Sriracha sauce.

So i made a pack of Great Value reduced sodium, brown gravy mix and added a good bit of cayenne.

I put the nuggets in a plate and covered them with gravy.
Tonnerre et e'clair! Mais c'est si bon, ouais!

I guess that's what we call chicken schnitzel. I do it a lot and love it with salad and especially with coleslaw. We do very little frying here. I just put a small amount of oil and butter in to cover the bottom of the pan and saute it.

My old Italian neighbor got me to loving it when I was a kid. She called it Chicken Scnitz. I loved her accent lol.

Crumbed pork is good too but I won't eat veal.
