Gardening is about the best activity.

it's 34 degrees this morning. One extreme to the other.

High 83 Low 75. No snow, tornadoes, hurricanes in sight. Didn't swim today, too much stuff to do. Will go again tomorrow. Fair to large amount of Sargasso weed. Makes good compost. Water temp is mid to low 70's. Perfect for a good workout. Sun is moving north. Blasts in the front door.

I always catch and release spiders. I hate it when people run around spraying anything that moves with poison.

The Daddy Longlegs get to live. They're put outside. Any other spider in the house gets swatted. Most are Brown Recluses.

I've had several spider bites from those things over the years. It's not pleasant.
Black widows love this heat. I killed one yesterday.

One time on the job in the refinery, they told us to pack some material in sealed , 55-gallon drums. We opened up the drums and they were full of black widows of every size.

There are, of course, exceptions lol.

They were alive and well with babies and webs. How they got in there or what country of origin the barrels were from, I have no idea. Nor do I know what they eating or were living off of .

I got an acetylene torch and fried them , one barrel at a time. Lol. 10 barrels total.

The General Foreman came out there and asked my foreman what the hell I was doing . Lol.

Then he came over there to watch and wrote down some notes.
