As far as "unchristian thoughts and comments", what some consider an "unchristian thought" or "comment" is subjective rather than biblical. There are some who claim that God's word is a "book of hate" as well because it does not condone nor excuse their life choices. In the end, it is God's choice, His salvation and His prerogative as to who He grants heaven and who He says "depart from me, I never knew you..."

Agreed! Going to church every Sunday doesn't make one a "christian" just as going to McDonalds does not make one a Hamburger. The Bible is only effective if one applies what it contains. Narrow is the way and few who find it.

As a solution, I would encourage all including "Red Lily" to call out whomever they deem as exhibiting "unchristian behavior" and cite biblical chapter and verse rather than opinion for where that person has exhibited "unchristian" behavior, comments or actions. Iron sharpens iron so it would be a great service to those who know the Lord to have other brothers and sisters identify where they have misapplied the scriptures.
