Australia’s big financial firms are offering cultural leave and counselling to their Indigenous staff impacted by the loss of the Voice referendum.

NAB said it was offering a range of wellbeing support, including cultural leave for Indigenous colleagues and a dedicated Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Support Line.

KPMG was offering to run “yarning circles” so Indigenous staff could “heal”.

NAB Group chief executive Ross McEwan said the bank acknowledged this was a challenging time for some communities and colleagues but NAB respects the democratic process and result of the referendum.

And on and on and on .....

High profile (and Aboriginal) NO campaigners are needing extra security to protect them from the YES loons. Families are being attacked. NO campaigners were spat on. Again, the list goes on.

They have 12% representation in parliament for 3% (and that's debatable) of the population. Hundreds of Abo foundations which receive $40 billion per year of which barely 95% of that money leaves Canberra. It's bizarre!

Good way to divide the country morons!

Here's a proud 'Aboriginal man' bleating with thousands of others who look just like him. Maybe one half of his little toenail saw some Abo in him sometime or other? Then again ...

I voted against it is I thought it would not help the Aborigines.
It would appoint more highly paid bureaucractics with vague guidelines. This new level of bureaucractics would be further removed from needy aborigines. They would slow down many govt decisions with no benefit.

Yes, the aborigines have been hard done by in the past. We are trying to help here.
Many live in very remote areas with little support. If I chose to live 1200 kms away from civilisation, I would have little support either.

This referendum was also hoisted upon us with no prior discussion.
We were treated dismissively.

It would appear as though SA and Qld are proceeding towards

I never realized just how much Aussies and U.S. have in common. This post could be pulled right off of a 2016 headline of any number of businesses and schools offered counseling to those who had lost their minds over Trump winning the election. Exact same thing, and just as sickening.
