Streets Deserted in China's Cities as New COVID Surge Looms

China is in the first of an expected three waves of COVID cases this winter, according to the country's chief epidemiologist, Wu Zunyou. Further waves will come as people follow the tradition of returning en masse to their home areas for the Lunar New Year holiday next month.
China has not reported any COVID deaths since Dec. 7, when it abruptly ended most restrictions key to a zero-COVID tolerance policy following unprecedented public protests. The strategy had been championed by President Xi Jinping.

If I were the Chinese, I would get rid of Xi  ASAP rather than suffer watching my friends and countrymen go totally fuck-wit crazy killing themselves in suicides over another lock-up, as has been shown in lockdown videos a couple years ago.

Xi will be remembered as the greatest genocidal dictator in Chinese -- possibly human -- history, which would give China the number 1 and number 2 ranks in that department. Well, at least it would shut the jews up.

How can they "expect" 3 waves of covid this Winter if they aren't generating them?

First off, China is a Communist country. It is not now nor has it ever been a democracy. The Chinese people cannot remove Xi any more than they had a say in electing him in the first place.

Secondly, the vast majority of people will do what they are told or the Chinese government will suddenly find a reason to kill or imprison them. Numerous people have suddenly "disappeared" for disagreeing with the regime.

Last but certainly not least, China is virtually over-run with people so life is cheap. If the WuFlu kills a few million Chinese, so what? The regime will go on with no questions asked. Even if a few million Chinese are murdered, there will still be more Chinese than there are Americans.

Communism is Communism regardless of what country it is in nor where it is in the world. North Korea is the same as China which is the same as Russia. Your point being?

The main difference is that 1.) Our store shelves are not filled with Russian or North Korean goods. 2.) Our "President" wasn't installed by Russia nor North Korea. 3.) Our "President" isn't on the payroll of Russia nor North Korea.

The reason the chinese don't rise above their communist party masters is because they are slaves.

You demonstrate a thin knowledge of Asian history. I don't have much either, but I can tell you, you are correct. What you know is probably all you need to know.That fact should scare the hell our of people, but we still have academia who remain stoned or high on the false promise of communism.
