Angela Landsbury Passes Away at 96

Again, who is "she?"  Angela, or Patty?  

JFTR, I hardly think that the woman Angela portrayed as Jessica Fletcher in Murder She Wrote would be described as hoytytoyty.  Any time the producers (whoever) placed her in a hoytytoyty roll, she looked ridiculous.  
Her worst, however, was trying to portray an Irish descendant w/a thick brogue.  Now that was truly pathetic.

And I agree that Angela never would've cut it as Annie Oakley, nor Molly Pitcher.

i was never talking up or down Patty. i was only showing how Angela was mad that Patty beat out Angela. at that point in time, i was still watching Magilla Gorilla and Go Go Gopher Injuns. F-Troop and Green Acres were still years away for me. oh yeah. and Professor Peabody. and Deputy Dawg.

She never inspired me and, to be honest, her roles irritated me more than not but she had a good long life, which is more than many have, so good luck to her.

She referred to herself as a "proud socialist" and her grandfather was a socialist politician and her father represented socialism and the Communist Party of Great Britain so she represented everything I am against so I won't gush over her just because she's dead.

Hmm.  That is not the history I read about her.  Seems I could do a little more homework, perhaps. But I doubt I will.
