From what I understand, Landsbury gave up her title to become a U.S. citizen.

her first husband was a certified 100% faggot. she married him trying to make him straight. then after or during the devorce, she started hanging out with other faggots. ( okay, im safe. i will never have to give the cold shoulder, cause im not one of them ). but the parties ( social functions ) she went to were where the gays were. which is who put in the good word to producers and screenwriters about giving her a chance. had a very great voice. even though on many ways she was a one trick pony.

Angela couldve never played Annie Oaklie or an outlaws woman. or a heroine ramming a shot of grape into the muzzle of a cannon. molly pitcher she aint. she was cast as a hoytytoyty did not want that part, but yet, EVERY part she ever portrayed had her as a hoytytoyty. NOT someone to balance on a highwire. or jump through a flaming hoop.
