Dickey Betts Passes Away at 80

His music both entertained and shaped my musical cache of great musicians.

Ramblin' on to the Blue Sky.

I've known this for decades, but i thought some of you might find it interesting.

Blue Sky was written by Dickey about his indigenous, Canadian girlfriend and later wife, Blue Sky.

One of the greatest instrumental songs played on all FM radio to fill time gaps before radio news or shows, Jessica, was written for his first born daughter.

It was good to see ABC Nightly Nooze end the show with a tribute to a great Florida boy who really did live just a stone's throw from Hwy 41.

You're right.  It's best retire.
