DON"T get rid of your meds.  You're gonna be needing them perhaps as things get worse.    I have on good authority from nurses i've known in the past who actually deal with meds that they don't expire or if they diminish in strength they're still good.  Keep your stuff yourself.

YUP !!!     Keep it.  I have medicine older than some aged whiskey... still effective.

@Calypso Jones , do you know if you start or initiate a thread, as OP you have a one time option the give "thanks" in addition to like and rep.

Here's how it works.

If you start a thread, every reply will show a Thanks option at the top of eaxh post. You can only use it one time and give only one person that thanks.

What it does is give the replying poster 3 reps.
In addition, you can rep with the + sign for a total of 4 reps .
You can also like the same post.

So you can give a poster 4 reps and a like if you're the thread starter.
Otherwise you won't see the thanks option at the top of every post. Nor will you be able to use it again once you have used it.

As thread starter here,  @Calypso Jones , you can still give Thom 4 Reps.

that's a good idea.

Although...you may wish you kept those antibiotics for an emergency.

Before going into hospital i got this little packet in the mail.  It's called.....medication disposal packet.    

What you do is you mix this powder with your medicine, add water and then you  can discard in the trash.    I have one better.  DO NOT DISCARD YOUR OLD MEDS>  PERIOD.   As the economy and health care deteriorate, you may find yourself in need of the very meds they encourage you to discard.

Directions. Mix this packet in your medicine container.  fill with water. shake and throw in trash.     as an aside they tell you not to inhale or ingest this powder......  
 now tell me......what does that tell YOU?      

I think i'll just stick with my own plan and trash this ...medication disposal packet.
