It's talking about the new Jerusalem. To discern what the passage is referring to one has to look at the passage directly before it.

"The city had no need of the sun or the moon to shine in it. The Lamb is its light. And the nations of those who are saved shall walk in its light, and the kings of the earth bring their glory and honor into it." Revelation 21:23 - 24 NKJV

There is a passage of scripture where Jesus says that if people didn't praise Him that the very stones would cry out. I believe it was at His triumphal entry, just before the crucifixion. Other passages talk about EVERYTHING on earth points to God and His invisible qualities so humans are without excuse. Still other passages talk about God's law being written on our heart.

If you don't know the account of God telling Saul to kill the amalekites...that would be Agag the Agagite who was an amalekite..and Saul did not do it.  He allowed him and most of his family to live in his custody...until Samuel heard of it.  Samuel,  the prophet, was very angry that Saul had disobeyed. So he called Agag to come before him, samuel, and samuel killed him himself... in the meantime, his family escaped with our without help i don't know.   The amalekites arose again in the story of Esther and Purim.....Haman was a descendant of the Amalekites.    The Amalekites played a part in WWII with the nazis...the nazis were taken with the amalekites, their philosophy, occult practices etc.   I had remembered this and wondered about the connection between Islam and the amalekites seeing that islam was an ally of sorts  (Seems to me it is the case but dhistory doesn't openly deal with that) and this is what i found....

When I first read that God told certain people to wage war with certain villages and leave no one alive, it seemed barbaric to me. Looking at things today, I know why He gave those instructions.

Just remember he gave those people hundreds of years to repent, they didn't and they only did worse...So bad that they could not be allowed to exist...child rape, child sacrifice and all related. IF saul had done his job, there may have been no nazi Germany.
