Mar-a-Lago smoking gun footage may mean DOJ may not have recovered all the classified material: legal experts

Donald Trump's legal predicament may have worsened, legal experts said, after a bombshell report published Saturday evening by The New York Times.

"The Justice Department also subpoenaed surveillance footage from Mar-a-Lago recorded over a 60-day period, including views from outside the storage room. According to a person briefed on the matter, the footage showed that, after one instance in which Justice Department officials were in contact with Mr. Trump’s team, boxes were moved in and out of the room," Maggie Haberman and Glenn Thrush reported. "That activity prompted concern among investigators about the handling of the material. It is not clear when precisely the footage was from during the lengthy back-and-forth between Justice Department officials and Mr. Trump’s advisers, or whether the subpoena to Mr. Trump seeking additional documents had already been issued.

Former federal prosecutor Renato Mariotti noted the story and tweeted, "It sounds like DOJ has reason to be concerned that it *still* may not have recovered all of the classified material taken by Trump."

Watergate prosecutor Jill Wine-Banks said, "obviously that raises many questions since it was false. If true, FBI couldn't have left with 21 more boxes in August."

Law Prof. Rick Hasen wrote, "Do any of us doubt that someone besides Trump or someone in Trump's orbit who lied about possessing such documents and didn't give them back would already be held in custody pending further proceedings?"

He declassified a lot of stuff involving hilliary/russia collusion/steel dossier. MAYBE there is stuff in there that would be a problem for hilliary and the FBI was trying to retrieve it. That's a possibility. FBI/DoJ are FOR protection of ....the Evil Party.

Seeing as conservatives' opinions are irrelevant to left media they make us out the minority and do as they please. They use lots of deceptive terms and phrases.

I imagine every President has taken documents after their term ended but one would assume they would either copy them or keep them safe in a bunker and not laying around in a store room.

If Trump did take anything, knowing what they are like and after hounding him for the past 6 years, I'd be very disappointed in his judgment but I don't believe he is that stupid.

Since what was false? And, if what was true? And WHY couldn't the FIB have left w/21 more boxes?

The "FBI" didn't seem to care about HRC's servers or her deleting those servers and classified materials. The "FBI" didn't seem to care about Hunter Biden's laptop. The "FBI" didn't seem to care about documents of ANY former Presidents. The "FBI" didn't seem to care about Biden's Vice Presidential documents. It seems rather "convenient" that all of the sudden, the "FBI" is concerned about "classified" documents?

While I'm on the subject, who were the "undercover FBI agents" and what is their political affiliations in Mar-A-Lago? Was it the same "FBI agents" who went ahead with the "investigation" using the bogus Steele dossier?

I would LOVE to know if there is any truth to the fact that the media was tipped off BEFORE the raid AND that the cameras were ordered to be turned off because there wasn't the mountains of "evidence" that the leftwingers hoped.

Does Trump have copies of Wieners laptop info that had all of Hillarys info on it from Anthony Wieners wife ? Dont forget the NY City police (Republican/Trump friendly) are the ones that originally got that laptop and took the info off it . Trump had excellent opportunities to have access to it for future use .
Another maybe is the Epstein info that the FBI has in the basement along with Hillary, and Hunter . That Epstein info ( which everyone knows was confiscated by the FBI when they went to the Island could topple all of the perverts in our government and others . That investigation stopped after one high up Royal Family members name was released - where's everyone else's ? Trump could get whatever info he wanted and if he's smart ,he would have gotten that for future use .
