Brown 2 lbs of ground beef with diced onion in the pot and pour off the excess grease.
Add:
4-5 potatoes
1 can of corn
1 can of green peas
1 can of green beans
1 can of whole kernel corn
1 can of diced tomatoes
1 can of tomato sauce

Fuck the peas Tex, should have thrown two cans of beans in it cheers

What do you know?  The Mrs has already said that she is taking a bowl to work for lunch tomorrow.  I'm the man. (If cooking and cleaning define a man)

What I do know is that I cook three days week, and I am a pretty shit hot cook, and peas suck lol
To each His/her own.
Well, I cook at least that much, and I love me some peas.
Split Pea Soup.
Peas in White Wine sauce.
Creamed Peas with New Potatoes.
Balsamic Pea Salad.

All are recipes I got off the internet.  My family loves 'em, even though they'll tell you they don't like peas.
Everyone has food they like, and food they think is disgusting.  All depends on preparation.  To each his/her own.

You know where you can shove your peas affraid

Have to admit, I don't like green peas either but I take the time to pick them out. Every last one Lol.

Love split peas though especially in pea and ham soup.

It works better if you put some food in it.

My husband likes peas, (I do, so long as they don't get mushy), so may try a few of those.  The one in White Wine sauce, and the Balsamic Pea Salad sound good.

I did make Spit Pea Soup once.  Not having a soup thermos, I poured into my husband coffee thermos.  By time lunch rolled around, it was so thick he couldn't get it out of the thermos!  My first stew - Page 3 773625082

I gotta say, y'all cook so differently from me.

For example, my stew?

Brown venison, 'stew meat', or cut up sirloin steaks that's had a decent shake down of garlic powder and oil poured over it, and rub in real well - then doused w/flour.

Add:  4 cups (or more) boiling water, to which you've added:
1 tsp. Lemon Juice
1 tsp. Worchestershire
1 quartered onion
2 Bay Leaves
3 tsp. Salt
1/2 tsp. pepper (give or take; same w/salt)
1/2 tsp Paprika
1 tsp. Sugar
2 tsp. Beef Bouillon
1 tsp. Oregano  (1 TB = fresh)

Let simmer for two hours.
Add cut up potatoes and carrots.  Cook approx. 45 minutes.

THAT, to me, is stew.
