A very rare one at that.

Last Sunday afternoon I bought;
1 Medium bag of potatoes
4 large English parsnips
Medium bag of English carrots
1/2 a swede
A medium bag of frozen peas
4 large English Onions
1 medium English cabbage
1 sprig of celery
3 cans of kidney beans
3 cans of Heinz baked beans
2kg of frozen diced beef
12 oxo cubes (3 oxo cubes per mix)
1 tub of bistro gravy

3 cans of chopped tomatoes

I split everything into 4 equally lots sharing all of the thickly chopped vegetables.

Putting them in a 5 litre pressure cooker I added
3 ground oxo cubes and 3 large spoonfuls of bistro to 1 litre of boiling water, stirring it well I poured it into the mix, then topping up with boiling water (if needed)

When all 4 amounts have been cooked I put them in plastic containers and freeze them.
This will give you 20 litres of beef stew.
If you have enough freezer space try my method?

What do you know?  The Mrs has already said that she is taking a bowl to work for lunch tomorrow.  I'm the man. (If cooking and cleaning define a man)

What I do know is that I cook three days week, and I am a pretty shit hot cook, and peas suck lol

Well, I cook at least that much, and I love me some peas.
Split Pea Soup.
Peas in White Wine sauce.
Creamed Peas with New Potatoes.
Balsamic Pea Salad.

All are recipes I got off the internet. My family loves 'em, even though they'll tell you they don't like peas.
