If I had to guess, I would say that things are EXACTLY like they were in Jesus' time and just like they were before the fall of the Roman empire. The 'D.C. Insiders' are just as perverse, just as twisted, just as power hungry, just as evil and just as much AGAINST the average citizen who is footing the actual bill.
