Gun Control Activist Alec Baldwin Shoots and Kills Crew Member on Movie Set, Shoots Director

I really don't think this is some great conspiracy of planned murder.  

Ironic, definitely!   Baldwin was a complete @hole and his anti gun stance is well known but if he intentionally planned to kill some lowly photographer I doubt he'd plan to do it with a prop gun.

Now his distant 10th cousin 6 times removed comes out bellowing and trying to claim 5 minutes of fame just because his name is Baldwin?  

I can't stand Alec Baldwin but  

I like Adam Baldwin. He is a conservative. He has handled guns in movies and knows his way around. In my opinion. He is right. and i agree with him. He was also in movies before most of the baldwin family has been.

This was a loaded gun. Baldwin knew it. The crew was not happy with the way things were done. Why would he point at gun at this woman? She left a husband and a little boy. No. not left. She was taken from them. He gets away with this with nothing??? when he was clearly negligent? If i am not mistaken. Isn't he the producer, director and the main actor?? Hope he bought insurance. He is gonna need it. The dead woman's husband is a lawyer.

He WAS clearly negligent and he is an idiot and always been an @hole.   I remember when he was ranting at his daughter.

I also think the dead woman's husband should get a really good lawyer and go for his throat, not that it will be any sort of consolation for losing her,  but I don't think it was calculated murder.

Just because I don't think this was a deliberate act doesn't mean that I think he shouldn't suffer the consequences of his actions or "get away with this with nothing."

The problem with prop guns is that some of them are real firearms shooting blanks, There are a good range of blank firing guns available these days that the casual observer wouldnt pick from the real thing, they cant fire a live round and have a barrel restriction , You can get a good one for around $500, in NZ  no license required. I intend to purchase one when gun store reopen here,

I would think it most likely he was using a revolver as an auto loader will probably not cycle with a blank round , unless it was specifically made to shoot out of a regular auto pistol and then the handgun would need a BFA to get enough back pressure to cycle

What a load of CRAP! Wonder how much he's paying her to make this statement? She's been watching her father do this for......how long, and she's been doing it, but just not the "head" armorer. I've never heard Alec Baldwin give a damn about anybody.....EVER. Could it be he's worried his ass is really on the line this time?

He has a net worth of about $60 million. Hope they take every penny of it.

He's had a lifetime of being in trouble because of a violent temper. I don't put ANYTHING past him....

Numerous crew members walked off the set of the Alec Baldwin film “Rust” in protest hours before the actor fatally shot cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on Thursday, while others had shared concerns about safety, according to reports.

The Los Angeles Times reported it had spoken with three crew members who were on the set of the film at Bonanza Creek Ranch in north central New Mexico leading up to the fatal shot that would ultimately leave Hutchins, 42, dead.

Those members complained that the low-budget film in which Baldwin was both starring in and producing, were not following standard safety protocols. The Times reported it had reviewed a text message sent by one of the crew members to the film’s unit production manager just before a live round was fired by Baldwin during filming.

“We’ve now had 3 accidental discharges. This is super unsafe,” that message reportedly read.

It turns out Hutchins is the wife of a Latham & Watkins lawyer.

Latham & Watkins represents the Clintons and Michael Sussman, who was recently indicted by John Durham.
