It's a real shame. I needed a computer, and got one out of a pawn shop...but Bust Buy had nothing but overpriced name-brand crap; Walmart had one, only one, model that was suitable...but they don't have much selection; I wasn't sure I couldn't do better.

I ordered a mini-computer that was on sale at Amazon. With ALL the problems. It came, no porch pirates; but it turned out to have been made by a Chineseer-than-Chinese company. The instructions were just a twice-folded page, when I needed real setup information. It wouldn't read my keyboard, when I plugged it in, and it was set up with a password already, and I couldn't reset it.

And I needed to boot it off a Linux flash drive to load Linux into it, and it wouldn't.

So. Amazon's algorithms gave me a shipping ticket to send it back, but WHAT a hassle.

So...pawnshop. Found what seems a good computer for 3/5 the price.

Target probably has better. Target has demented freaks as their model employees.

I wouldn't go into their shithole store now if they were giving away home entertainment systems, free.
