The Sanderson/Paltrow suit....anyone following this??

It wouldn't be right to stick Paltrow for his medical expenses if she didn't do it. It would also be bad for the sport. I'd probably throw the case out.

Uh-huh. It's a dynamic situation. If you've ever watched skiing you know the physical relationship of the two skiers changes from one fraction of a second to the next -- just like ice hockey.    

Now you got me interested, and I'll have to watch the trial. if I remember to. No, scratch that. From what I've read of your posts, I'd say your sense of it is as good as anyone's. A person would have to be a jerk to make a big deal out of such a slow-mo skiing crash. Guess what? Jerks are. They need to show some kind of x-ray proof of his injuries to be believable to me, and have that supported by the doctors opinions on both sides. I've seen this kind of accident happen dozens of times, never with injuries but with laughter. Ever. That's why I'm not on board with the plaintiff.

Per ABC Nightly News:

Paltrow found not responsible.
Plaintiff found 100% at fault.

Paltrow countersued for $1.
Plaintiff has to pay her $1,plus court costs and her lawyer fees.

Yeah.

Stinky Paltrow is more Woke than the plaintiff.
