On the slop...Paltrow...that be Gwyneth rams into the back of this older skier and causes head trauma and broken ribs and she gets up and skis away. Trial going on now...witness says she hit him, she claims he hit her. That doesn't make any sense. They're trying to discredit the witness. she has the $$, i don't see why she doesn't make it right. Pay his medical expenses. That would be fair.... i would think anyone getting on the slopes realizes they're taking some risk. Just how she handled it was not right.

There used to be rules and etiquette about skiing. FIRST rule is...REMAIN IN CONTROL. Skiing is not an uncontrolled launch down a hill. That's idiocy, and it often leads to broken limbs. Not always the idiot's limbs.

Second rule is, if something happens, you have a duty. Same as with a traffic acccident. Ski Patrol would be all over; they wore identifying vests; wave one of them over. They had radios and could get medical help up fast.

If you must, you can and should leave; but NOT just to amble away.

All that went away about 30 years ago - with "snowboarding." Skiing is control Snowboarding is just a thrillseeking stunt. They have slick boards, but it's really not much different than taking an old car hood and standing on it as you slide down a hill.

I got nailed in the small of my back by a snowboarder taking a small rise on the slope, trying for air. He got air and nearly broke my back and hips. And he had a smirk and a SORRY, DOOD! for me.

I thought I was gonna die, it hurt so much. I was able to walk down the hill (not ski) but that was it for the day for me. Punk was lost in the crowd.

So for this stinky-candle whore-actress to do this...should be worthy of complete bankrupting. I'm a firm believer: You LEARN what you're doing, before you do it! Driving a car, or skiing, or motorcycle-riding, or fishing. LEARN.

She didn't. She just slid down the hill uncontrolled - and unconcerned.

I could near swear...  Is that the same woman who walks into "Mom's" bedroom first thing in the morning, to check on how this new incontinence device is working out for her?

Starts out with, "Hi, Mom."  Sounds forever like some nitwit spewing Pablum to an even dimmer minded crowd Her mouth looks forever like it's saying, "Pap, pap, pap." Lips pursed, and the whole nine yards.
Then again, I highly doubt an 'award winning' actress would do such an ad.

Do you know if it's her, or not?

this happened 6 years ago. the prosecution witness has changed his story. hmmm.

i don't know enough now with this new information to have an opinion at this point. Unlikeable as she is...this may be a shakedown.

Sounds like it wasn't her fault.

Well, that is such a slow, sundry accident. In a chair liift line, or what? What's the big deal? No one has even suggested how fast they were goiing.

Anyway a lot of details are left out of the narrative, or I just missed them.

skiing ON the slope. He alleges she plowed into him knocking him down, head injury and rib problems but why wait so long to do this?? He wasn't healthy enough to be on the slope at the time of the accident anyway.

Saw a few minutes of the trial tonight. I think she's fine from what I've seen. It's a ski hill for pete sake. People fall down, and they run into other people sometimes, especially in or near the lift line.

She doesn't strike me as the aggressive type or easily angered. Cool
