The last dog I had lived to about 17, so I guess that's pretty good.

Yeah, 15 years is about the oldest a dog can expect to live.

Small breeds seem to do a little better. But 30 years old? That's about like getting to age 140. And frankly, that doesn't sound much like fun.

Hope he's got a warm place he can soothe his joints, which undoubtably ache...
