And I'm not surprised his stupid film bombed. After all, how can you make a successful documentary about something that doesn't even exist? "Right-wing, Christian Nationalism"? Gimme a break. I've always said that Reiner wasn't acting on All in the Family. Him and his character Mike Stivic are one and the same. Carroll O'Connor was a flaming shitlib, too, but at least he could pull off a convincing right-wing character. Conservatives loved Archie, even though the show was designed to openly mock them.

I'll bet he's happy the networks no longer show All in the Family for being so politically incorrect, even though the series was designed to be left-wing propaganda. It became a victim of its own doing.

All in the Family airs here on Sunday nights. I, too, loved how the producers had to embrace how the audience shocked them by loving Archie, and had to, therefore, either go with that, or lose their shirts dumping the show entirely. lol

But at least back then they at least had the smarts to accept just who was buttering their bread. It's doubtful that the idjits in Hollywood these days would have the brains.
