What is normal procedure/punishment for the hoarding of classified material?
We know what happened to Trump and he was in the position of being able to declassify what he had. Biden wasn't.
They can't just let this go! What is the GOP doing?
To be honest I haven't seen anything in respect to Trump having declassified his documents ?

You guys are heavily armed but have still bowed down to mandates and the vaccine, otherwise you wouldn't be continually whining about it, You cant have one without the other, ?
Okay. Do I need to reiterate, AND PROVE...ESTABLISHED FACTS?
Because that's not discussion. That's a waste of time.
We, Americans, were not forced into quarantine camps. I have no doubt the NSA/Deep State had PLANS, but they never got carried out.
How much freedom we had, by state, correlated well with our states' laws on personal liberties and especially firearms ownership.
Montana had it very soft. Yes, businesses were ordered closed. Not the chain fast-food dumps, and not Walmart or other mega-stores, but small shops, independent sports bars and restaurants, WERE.
A few resisted and had their business licenses taken away. In other areas, a few resisted, ignored the cancel of their licenses, and the county ordered their utilities cut.
But we were free to wander the streets. I know, because I was doing it, both for exercise and to retain sanity. No stupid face-diaper requirements in the open air.
This WAS NOT THE CASE EVERYWHERE. Not even in Idaho, where a mother was arrested for taking her four-year-old to a local park playground - ALONE - in the sunshine.
ARRESTED.
This was also not true of airline passengers. Not true of people trying to enter the chain stores, the only ones allowed to be open. Walmart had black-shirted (really!) Face-Diaper Enforcers. I nearly came to fisticuffs with one. And that's one more reason I will not shop at Walmart, now.
But in Canada, they were forcing returning Canadians, even face-diapered, into quarantine hotels...for two weeks, cost to the victim, about $5000...to "prove" he wasn't sick.
Does that sound like freedom?
Would government officials do that, and financially destroy middle-class people this way...if they knew the odds were high that one of them, being "ordered" into a prison-hotel, would just pull out a gun and shoot his way free? When someone has nothing, they have nothing to lose; and to many people, $5000 is the difference between survival and ruination. Especially when all at one shot, WHILE being kept from working.
The examples are endless. It is not that I...PERSONALLY was wronged; Montana was the second-best place to be in the US for this exercise in tyranny. (Florida was the best place to be).
It is that it could have been so much worse; WAS so much worse elsewhere in the US; and will be much worse if we don't take action.
Okay. Second threadjack over.
Back to the demented dolt with reams of classified documents, who wants to jail his predecessor for a few documents that had been legally declassified.

I believe an aide said that he was with Trump when he declassified the documents but then he pleaded the fifth and was granted immunity in testifying at the hearing so who really knows? Trump's were kept at Mar-a-Lago which is supposedly under Secret Service protection.
Either way Biden's documents go back years and were kept in open garages and Chinese paid for offices and as far as I know he was never entitled to hold such documents period. He wasn't a President nor an ex President when he hoarded them.

I don't know the penalties.
But classified material is to be kept in official repositories.
Hoarding classified material outside of these places documents are kept (FBI records departments, or similar in other agencies) is violating security procedures. They are NOT to go home, in your garage, in your remote office.
The differences in these two cases: Trump had declassified documents that HAD BEEN CREATED in HIS ADMINISTRATION. He was the ultimate custodian of Executive records; and had the right to declassify what was initially classified in his administration.
That was the records he had had. Apparently not many of them.
BIDET'S stash was of papers WHEN HE WAS VP. He was NOT able to declassify them; and they had not been declassified.
They were not in a safe or vault, the way Trump's papers were. We saw the photos - in cardboard boxes, in a garage.
Secure storage? Do you think?
What they were trying to jail Trump for, is WHAT THE DEMENTIA PATIENT HAS BEEN DOING.

And neither were we, If you chose to come to NZ you would have needed to go into a hotel to isolate for 7 days, all meals and alcohol provided , and if you didn't like that then no need to come here, No arm twisting

Re: Classified Docs from Biden VP era found in biden's private office
Biden's classified documents apparently went back to when he was just a Senator.
Although there doesn't seem to be any actual proof that Trump did, in fact, declassify said documents it still remains that he was probably entitled to have them. Biden isn't/wasn't.

Same here. An ex-poster put up a video of some bogan toothless drunk outback Abo saying they were being rounded up and put in camps. It was completely untrue and debunked and I showed this when it was demanded that I PROVE my stance. She still did not believe me and launched into a tirade calling me a bitch and telling me to STFU!
You can't control what people want or choose to believe.

Re: Classified Docs from Biden VP era found in biden's private office
I find it rather interesting that Hunter Biden received millions of dollars from Chinese interests. It is also interesting that Hunter Biden had unlimited access to both the garage, the homes and Vice President Biden. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to logically draw the conclusion that whatever was in the classified documents that Biden had, were of great interest to the Chinese.
Given that Biden has been soft on China and was installed by Chinese bogus votes and that China paid Biden's son millions of dollars as well as contribute millions of dollars to the Biden Penn center, it makes sense that China also had unlimited access to the documents as well.
