While I agree with you, I doubt that the gravy train will ever stop. There is too much money involved and too many people are happy to sit back while it rolls in. Let's face it, deficit spending should never have started in the first place.

Can't help having a fair amount of respect for Newt.  However, it isn't due to his being a 'big-government-solutions to every problem' kind of guy.
Which begs the question as to why he got booted from his position of Speakership.  I know Dems were trying to shove him out, and using absurd reasons - disrespect for women, etc. - (sound familiar?), but leave it the Pubs to go along w/the Dems and boot him.  (Sound even more familiar?)
Weirder yet, is to hear Newt cheerleading those very people, and claiming that not going along w/the Old School GOP is going to cause chaos, when, in fact, TO go along with them will repeat the same b.s. that happened in the Nov. election at the fault of the very people who refused to show any kind of leadership by backing the Conservative Republican candidates running for office.

The chaos IS McCarthy, McConnell, etc.  They need to GO!  

***As an aside, I heard a talking head on the radio today say that Jim Jordan was in favor of McCarthy.  Go figure.
