Kevin McCarthy Previews "Commitment to America"

Wow!  This is the first I'm hearing of this, "Commitment to America" theme the Republican congress has been working on for some time now.  Maybe y'all have heard about it, so pardon me if this is old news.  I think it's fantastic!"  Part of the preview:

We really break it down into four pillars: An economy that’s strong, a nation that is safe, a future that is built on freedom, and a government that is accountable,” McCarthy told Breitbart News. “Under each pillar, we lay out what we will do. Under an economy that’s strong, we’re going to stop this runaway spending and curb that inflation. We’re going to make [the country] energy independent and lower the price of gas. We’re going to bring back the supply chain from China into America. Under a nation that’s safe, the first thing we’re going to do is secure our border and end this catch-and-release and stop this fentanyl that’s coming across. We’re going to be able to have 200,000 more police officers and the other thing we’re going to be able to do is these prosecutors and DAs that have not been enforcing the law we are going to shine light onto that and bringing out a transparency chart so everyone knows where we’re at. Of course, we’re going to defend our national security.”

Under those other two pillars, McCarthy explained the agenda even further.

“Then we’re going to look at a future built on freedom.,” McCarthy said. “We’re going to pass a Parents’ Bill of Rights. Parents ought to have a say in their kids’ education. We’re going to supply the ability to have parental choice. We’re going to get tax credits in so kids have scholarships so a million kids can go to new and different schools. You have healthcare in there—and Big Tech, and hold them accountable and ensure fairness. It’s all the things we talked about from the very beginning and all the different things we’re going to be going after from ESG to Section 230. Then, we’re going to be talking about a government that’s accountable. The first thing we’re going to do is defend our rights from the Second Amendment to freedom of speech. Then we go in and what we’ve really been working on already is these agencies that we have more than 500 preservation letters. Why don’t we know where the origins of COVID started? Why don’t we know what happened in Afghanistan when the president listened to the military? What about an Attorney General who went after parents and called them terrorists simply because they went to school board meetings? This is where we’re going to hold the agencies all accountable. The very last one is making sure Congress works. On the very first day we’re going to remove proxy voting and then for election law we have a whole election law bill for voter ID and cleaning up the rolls.”

I found out about it by running across a Hannity interview w/Newt Gingrich.  He applauds it, and yes, it is purposely built along the foundation of his "Contract with America."  
No, I don't have rainbows (barf) and unicorns floating in my mind's eye.  I'm a little more grounded than that.  However, the Contract of America did result in a lot of positives for this country.  

How did I miss all this?

Too late.

He, and the party leadership, shows they are committed to the Status Quo Republicrats. The Uniparty champions.

That they didn't like Donald Trump...I get. I don't like him, either. But I'm not looking for a pen-pal.

They're willing to FRAME a man, violate his Constitutional rights; railroad him, jail him...either because of personal animus, or, more likely, because they fear him and the true change he represents.

And the opposite of true change, is sham-change. No change. Change, only the same.

While the other wing of the Uniparty has been radicalized, marching to Marx's funereal beat...these bozos will do anything to just remain in power, getting their insider stock tips, their lobbyists' graft...a bit longer.

Actually, I disagree.

The Gingrich movement PREVENTED the kind of damage that's now being done. The only difference between Bubba and Brandon is, Bubba wasn't senile; and he was more committed to keeping his job, than to doing what the backstage "advisors" were whispering.

(One of which was his horrid wife, Mercedes Marxist that she was and is)

He wanted to please them and impose socialized medicine - HillaryKair. Didn't work; THAT got Gingrich a majority in Congress. Bubba saw the writing on the wall. Remember, we were only six years from Reagan, and the sound economic foundation remained. With the threat of Academic Stalinism removed, the prosperity continued. So did the WH Intern recruitment, but that's another issue.

Kevin McCarthy is only doing this to keep his job. Don't trust this back stabbing bastard one inch. How many times have they had the power in their greedy little paws and they did NOTHING.

I have to agree with Casey, it's too late. If anyone wanted to really do anything substantial, the time to do it would have been as the election fraud was happening, before the gasoline prices skyrocketed and before the store shelves emptied out. Now? No mortal can stop the crime and illegal immigration, fill up the store shelves, stop the "mandate" madness, bring gasoline prices within reason or undue the insanity that has become the United States at the hands of the Democrats. Let's face it, the Marxist are continuing to march the country toward Socialism, Communism and anarchy and society WILLINGLY complies just as the Jews marched willingly into the "showers".
