Tucker and the Elvis Burger

I'm doing this tomorrow.



Bananas rolled in sugar

saute with howler head whiskey...i'll use American Honey Sting

put layer of PB on the bun

put your burger on the pb on the bun

add more PB on top of the burger

Add bananas sauteed in howler head...and probably butter was in the pan too.

add cooked bacon slices and then a drizzle of honey.

okay. i made it early since its so cold outside. I made it smaller cause that is a heart attack waiting to happen. Not only did i add a little whiskey to the bananas, i let it get in the burger too.

Taste. It's good. But i think you must like sweet. it's an occasional treat or special occasion but i'm a bit of a traditionalist too..like Veg.

I made it smaller than the original in the video. My bananas did not fry up as fishstick like as in the video. I don't know why. Maybe he used MORE sugar than i did.

The Captain likes it. Initially when i told him what i was doing he was reluctant. Not a weekly thing but an interesting change from the usual burger.

Now i'm making 2 zucchini breads with black walnuts and a carrot cake, reduced calorie, loaded with vegetables, healthy kind. Not the zucchini breads though....they're high calorie and delicious.

I was picking a few pecans with my rolling Nut Wizard but there are so few and my back started hurting because it's still out of whack.

So I'm inside defrosting some already seasoned ground beef I seasoned with Hawk Seasoning and dry, onion soup mix and then froze.

I've been having a package of cream cheese in the fridge forever. So I'm going to pack some ground beef around a hunk of cream cheese like a meatball. Then flatten it out into a burger and BBQ it.

I sure miss living right next door to a Family Dollar Store. You run out of something here and the nearest anything( which is DollarGeneral) is 5.5 miles away.

I tried to stuff the burgers like you stuff boudin balls. Dat was pas bon! Lol
So what I did was make a burger but half thickness. Then, put the cream cheese. Then make another burger and lay it on top closeing up the ends like putting 2 pie shells together. They are still very large. I made 2 big ones and one slider with what was left of 1 pound of ground beef.

Next time I'll try some crushed pineapple and pepper jack cheese.
I prolly will only be able to eat one.
But that little one is insurance.

I do enjoy an Hawaiian pizza,
