I good friend of mine is the head of mycology and pathology with  a government horticultural organisation in NZ, I wont name it ,He is recognized as being one of the most esteemed global experts on bananas , Hes a Queenslander , I can recall a few years back him telling me that amanita muscaria were poisonous,  The official line with mushrooms is don't forage for them as too many varieties will kill you or make you seriously ill , so little work has been done on the medicinal benefits. I came across one one the property picked it took a bite and ate it, the X freaked out . It had no effect , good bad or otherwise , I have since cooked and eaten them , only in small quantities

He's not using the term correctly. Hemp and Marijuana are two different plants. They are cousins and look much alike but are certainly not the same. Hemp is grown for its fibers. It makes strong rope and can be woven into cloth. It does not have any THC. Marijuana has THC but its fibers are weak.

Oh yes. I forgot about the lack of THC in hemp...What's that stuff from hemp/marijuana everyone is using and somewhat raving about.

Are you talking about CBD oil? I don't use it, but a lot of places sell that stuff now. It's kind of on the expensive side, and it doesn't work for everyone.

Are you talking about CBD oil? I don't use it, but a lot of places sell that stuff now. It's kind of on the expensive side, and it doesn't work for everyone.

A doctor gave me CBD oil for muscle spasms in my neck. So far, I've put up with the spasms rather than use the oil.
