Billy I've not averaged 40 hours a week over the course of my working life, I raised a family , now separating, I will walk away with around a million bucks in cash and assets, and still have a few productive years in front of me. , If that's makes me gullible, then I can live with it

Not necessarily a good one , but certainly not a gullible on lol

I find the people that are more inclined to whine about the system are the ones that haven't taken advantage of what the system has offered them , its not about being wealthy its about being comfortable financially in respect to the type of lifestyle that you prefer to live

Gullibility has absolutely NOTHING to do with money, wealth, assets nor material possessions. When you die, absolutely NONE of those things will go with you. It's often been said that one is born with nothing and one will die with nothing. No one has a U-Haul truck following their hearse.

Gullibility refers to a willingness to accept and believe whatever nonsense is told to you by the "media" and/or "experts". Your posts have certainly shown your gullibility regardless of what material possessions you may have accumulated.

The assholes at the Louisiana Public Service Commission have allowed ENTERGY LOUISIANA and ENTERGY NewOrleans to increase their rates to a total of about 16cents/kWh. No one can pay their bills. $500-600-700 monthly bills are not uncommon.

Electric heat is a big user of electricity. I usually set the thermostat at 65 in the winter but looks like I'll have to lower it to 60 this winter.

Surrounded by oil and gas, and refineries.
And can't afford electricity.
Holy mackerel, @HawkTheSlayer, just how BIG are their houses? Ours is 1500 sq. ft., all electric, electricity from Entergy = 12.5/kWh, our July bill? $127.32.
Oh, we used 864 kWh. There isn't that great difference in our kWh costs, so I can't help wondering just HOW their bills are so high. ???
JSYK, we are on levelized billing, which makes a bit of a difference, but not that much.

***An aside: Do you, too, pay "Energy Charges" and "Fuel Charges?" What's up with that? What's the difference?

If you are gullible clown chances are you will not be successful in life

""When you die, absolutely NONE of those things will go with you. ""

But they make things a hell of a lot more pleasant whilst you are here, and you can enrich the lives of your kids when you kick off

""Your posts have certainly shown your gullibility regardless ""

Rich coming from someone that has a fanatical belief in the bible lol It doesn't get much more gullible than that
