PBS wants us to eat bugs.

Insects are not safe for eating.

people don't want to eat bugs...it's engrained in us.

many people are allergic to chitin..that exoskeleton...the hard shell that holds the insect together.

what will the blow flies think of us as we eat the maggot soup from taco bell? we will look like cannibals to them.

I don't know about them but i think the 'Elites' in this country will be smiling behind our backs.

I couldn't find the scene where McQueen was eating roaches in solitary.
So, lol. Our future from 1973, retro before that..Lol

okay. the skinny. on the burma side of the railroad of death, they had an over abundance of blowfly AND larvae. seems the locals the japs used would just drop trowel where ever they were. and you dare not eat anything if a fly landed in it. 
 so all the men are starving. the " doctors " are dropping the maggots into the infected wounds so the bad tissue, skin and muscle can be eaten. 
 then they get the idea, " we have so many......how bout we make a stew out of them. " well the stew was too revolting, so they concocted a soup.............and now you know the rest of the story.........this is jebe.....good day. ( you have been listening to the Paul Harvey lunch hour. jebe is a dick who stole Pauls gig )

I think i understand and that is revolting.

MANY men in the hospital stayed alive by eating m/soup. most survived by turning the corner when they had a duck egg.
