My youngest for some reason became very aware of his mortality at age 5.   That caused him difficulty sleeping.  So i went into his bedroom and lay there with him talking....especially about santa clause.  I should have talked more about God.  

Once he rushes to me and says..Mom How long do turtles live.  I replied some of them can live to 150 years old...he said, "I WISH I WAS A TURTLE".   LoL

I became aware of my mortality at age 11 with the death of my father.   that took a long time to get over.    Then again...my first anxiety attack with my mother's sister's death after my mothers.    I recognized at that point...that i was the matriarch of the family.   That scared me to death. First Anxiety attack.  Frightening.  I hope to never have another.

That is very unusual for a child.
Anxiety attacks would be awful. I've had a few nervous breakdowns.

Evaporated milk or whole milk.    cream of rice or any cream cereal with smashed bananas and later on smashed peaches.  Mashed potatoes...nearly any food when they are ready for solids,  In my opinion after 6 months start with the cereals.    depending on how they do add veggies, smashed of course and then.  

Have you tasted any of this SHIT and I DO MEAN SHIT.   The formula, gaggable.  The baby foods unpalatable.  We force this crap in their mouths.  because we can and we think we must.  Screwem.

My mom raised 4 kids on whole milk, my grandmother raised 12 kids on fresh cow's milk........MY kids drank whole milk....I did start with the formula because I was a very young mom and, did what the doctor told me was the right thing to do, my daughter was constantly fussy and, gassy and spitting up so, my husband said, "fill the bottle with milk, real milk." Solved the problem. My son was started on whole milk immediately after coming home from the hospital.

The democrats are just trying to create another panic and, all the usual suspects are falling right into line.

of course you mean liquor or whiskey rather than 'alcohol' as in rubbing....only mentioning this because some one would read that and then poison their child with rubbing alcohol to soothe their gums. Personally i used liquers. tastier. with same result.

You put their little butts to work all day long and they'll sleep at night.

doctors/nurses have to do things periodically to make themselves relevant. I breast fed personally. First one 6 months, second one 9 months and the third one 13 months. It was because of lack of expertise being a first time mom. I didn't know how to keep the milk producing but i got better and better at it. I will say that i cannot breast feed in the hospital...course they're really not that hungry yet either so that worked out....but the minute i would put my hand on the door to go into the house from the hospital....i could feel the milk 'drop'. EVERY. time and there is no mistaking that sensation.
