I've clerked at 3 different pharmacies, and agree that they should be able to pick and choose what they're willing, and not willing, to sell.Calypso Jones wrote:Yes. well 2. just remember they have to report everything to the gov't through the insurance company. Seems YOU GOT NO PRIVACY as they all share it. and even the damn pharmacy will say no to a prescription your doctor has issued if they don't like the looks of it. ALL standard procedure.
But check this out. The doc asked which pharmacy I used, and I told him Walmart. Then added, "That's gonna change here real soon."
He snickered. As in, agreement - he understood where I was coming from.
Hey, I'm not real keen on docs, so it's lucky I didn't need one for 30 years or better. But when ya needs one, ya needs one, and, as far as docs go, my first impression is on the positive side. He's an older man, (a positive right there), who's fairly certain that he worked w/a relative of Mr. 2's. That just plumb tickled him. Real easy going guy. Thus far, I like him.

Re: Questionnaire for New Doc Visit
I know 2 brothers.
One went to college and pharmacy school for ten years. Then it took him several attempts and At least another two years to pass the pharmacy exam.
His younger brother was a pharmacist, too.
A street Pharmacist! Lol.
By the time the older brother got his pharmacy license, the younger brother had bought 500 acres of land and built a mansion. All the inside of the house was cypress. Much of it, old growth red cypress heartwood.

either doc can't give you both shots. Are they specializing in different things? That's what we've run into here. If the reg doctor orders a specific blood work, you pay....but if the gastro doc orders it for a specific thing, insurance pays.
These alleged doctors must 'stay in their own lanes'.
I don't think they learn 'doctoring' anymore...they learn how to code and qualify gov't regs.

i mean, this. One of my docs prescribed and called in a prescription for me. The pharmacy would not fill it until they checked with a doctor that i no longer see for over a year. And look how some docs prescribed ivermectin and the pharmacy wouldn't fill it.

Re: Questionnaire for New Doc Visit
The idea that a pharmacy needed to double-check w/a doc you haven't seen in that long was a pretty stupid one, and I can't figure why they'd want to BE that stupid, but it's just as Forest said, eh? Yes, I'm aware of how heavy handed the gov't is being, when it comes to ivermectin. And there's the privately owned pharmacies that refuse to fill "day-after" scripts, and it's their right to do so.Calypso Jones wrote:2cent wrote:I've clerked at 3 different pharmacies, and agree that they should be able to pick and choose what they're willing, and not willing, to sell.Calypso Jones wrote:Yes. well 2. just remember they have to report everything to the gov't through the insurance company. I'm pretty sure that privately owned pharmacies have more elbow room on choosing who to listen to, than do corporately owned ones. Those pharmacists have zero choice.
The above is why I'm shopping for a new pharmacy.
