As for Christmas shopping I've done most of mine. I start early nowadays and do the majority of it online. When I see something I think is suitable for someone I just buy it and put it away.

I hate Christmas crowds and I hate having to think up gifts for people all in one go so the early online system works for me.

I misunderstood IMC.  I'll check it out when I get a shop.  I'm in the middle of  moving in with my brother at the moment.  I should have a lot left over when I wire my house.  Most of the house will be romex inside the walls, but I will have to run conduit to get to light fixtures on the open ceilings.  Is it pretty easy to thread the pipe ends for custom lengths?  I work on industrial electrical equipment and understand electricity better than most electricians, but I don't do new wiring and I'm slow and need to learn wire ampacities, heat ratings, outlet types, when a junction box is necessary, and other code issues.

I'm also looking at epoxy resin art, Lichtenburg wood burning, and custom hanging light fixtures.  To practice, I want to make a light to go over a pool table from iron pipe with a butcher block center.  Epoxy river cutting boards, coasters, and tables, interior barn doors, the possibilities are endless.  There is a monthly "flea market" about 20 miles from where I want to live.  I could build product in my spare time and sell it there 3-4 days/month.  Canton First Monday Trade Days opens on the weekend preceding the first Monday of each month.  I can get off pager each month for this and I have friends and family already working there for help and guidance.  I just need a shop and funds to buy materials to get started.  I'll have to learn the ins and outs of accepting credit cards if I don't demand all cash. I'll also have to get organized to deduct expenses or I'll never make money.

I guess if one has wealth beyond compare then diamonds are ok. For the rest of us poor slobs who aren't swimming in money, it's a different story. I guess the rest of could send glass maybe...
no. not wealth. brains. most rough diamonds ive bought ( greens and oranges ) have been under $75/ct.

Under $75 ct. huh? So how much of a "diamond" could I send for say $10 or $20?
