And the dresses...many picking up the theme of Garden of Time...and obviously they don't get it.

well...i'm stunned at least.  The story and the theme. These hollywood folk consider themselves the Royalty of the US.... Politicians are their ugly stepsisters of Royalty.   They are celebrating the flowers that hold back the ignorant dirty mobs that have come to destroy that royalty those same mobs that are displaced by war, famine, death, destruction...and those flowers are finite..the end of the story well....you guessed it.... the destruction of that royalty. Hollywood should be frightened.

In our case...those 'royal' characters in the story represent civilization.

Met Gala  vyes for top billing over Burning man. This is may 2024.   My bad. i thought Met was this time of year...end of summer.  That's burning man.   This is the garden thing one where they prophesy their own end.  i don't think they realized that. but...i enjoy anything hollywood or the so called elites do to expose themselves.literally and figuratively.

New York City socialite Julie Macklowe is breaking the number one rule of the Met Gala: you don’t diss Anna Wintour’s grand event.

Page Six has learned that during an upcoming episode of Joe Pardavila’s “Good Listen” podcast, former hedge fund manager Macklowe will slam the annual event, known as the “Oscars of Fashion,” saying it’s “generally a giant s**t show” that’s short on star power.

“I’d say 10 years ago, it used to be more socialites, more business people,” she explains. “More like real, A-list celebrities. Now it has become much more influencers. Half the people who go there, I don’t even know who they are. And it feels like everyone’s just trying to dress naked at this point.”

Macklowe is married to wealthy developer Billy Macklowe whose parents are billionaire real estate legend Harry Macklowe and his ex wife, art collector, Linda Macklowe…

…The socialite knows that there are consequences for speaking badly of Wintour’s baby. “Obviously, I don’t care if I don’t get invited back,” she said.

Hollywood "A" listers, didn't recognize 1 name. Is it possible I missed something as I only see a film or so a year? And watch none of the streaming shows, nor watch films newer than '21.
