I believe something happened, but not a day's worth of a sun standing still. I could not find the original sources to read.

Something as awe-inspiring as a 24 hour day would have been chronicled by every civilization.

First of all, there is absolutely NOTHING in scripture which in any way tells a believer to "hate" what God has made. Jesus died on the cross for ALL of humankind so, believers are not to "hate" anyone. Believers are also NOT told to fight the devil but, rather to resist him.

Second of all, asking questions is ok, but, how do you know that the "answers" you get are correct and true? It's fine to ask questions but, I would recommend that you go back to the Bible yourself to verify that what you've heard is true, factual and right. Many people portray themselves as "christians" who are followers of the devil and will tell you whatever they think you will believe not necessarily what is true.

Thirdly, no I cannot explain fully EVERYTHING that God does, has done nor will do because, as the Bible tells us, His ways are not our ways. There are mysteries of God that our human mind cannot understand, fathom nor comprehend. If I knew everything that God knows, then people like you would want to know why they need God in the first place if we were just as "smart" as He is.

Fourth, there are not "gods", there is only one triune God who is in all and through all. God sent His only Son to suffer and die on the cruel cross for humans so that we might have eternal life.
