Where does that state and local tax money go??  And those people in the flood areas pay taxes too.   These crooks take our money and have been doing it for years.   We don't see where it goes and i guarantee a lot of it finds its way into their pockets.

We've had two city officials found to be stealing taxpayer money.   and one of them owned a business that hired jmu students to find dead people and have them vote.  The kid went to jail for 3 months..the city official faced no time or humiliation or fines.

It's our fault..we've allowed them to rob us and now it's common practice.

Well...the kid signed up a dead judge and somebody recognized the name. The guy running the show last name was fitzgerald..>bit old lib around here...or thinks he is. His whole demeanor is one that says, 'don't trust me'.

Democrats just really don't understand people...especially ones that the dems stab in the back, betray, cheat, ruin our finances, make us miserable, allow criminals to murder our kids and family members.    That's a good thing they don't get it. Dems are stupid.

Most interesting. I had a house in New Bern. In the early aughts I discovered I was in a flood plain. My notice was in the form of $ 3000 increase in my mortgage. The survey said it was above the 100 year flood plain, even so, the increase struck. This was after FL had the sinkhole/hurricane damage and Katrina. I was certain the insurance companies were just trying to recoup their losses. According to Google maps, no damage was done to that home during Helene.
