Hurricane Francine

Look like ill have a hurricane or tropical storm over me by Wednesday.

hasn't it been a quiet hurrican season this year...i mean compared to the norm?


ididn't mean aside...i mean compared to. That didn't make sense. I thought it had actually been quiet.

Yes. But it only takes one.

There will be lots of clean-up.

There hasn't been a pecan crop like this year in decades. All the trees are loaded and the branches are already breaking from the weight.

A few early trees are cracking open and a few pecans are falling. But for the most part, it will be 2 or 3 weeks before they dtart falling good.

Or by Wednesday. Lol.

Unfortunately, as of the 4pm advisory, Francine is now expected to be a Cat 2 hurricane at Landfall. Wind will be 100mph. Winds are already 65 mph.
Tropical storm warnings are already in effect.

Tomorrow will be a prep day.
I'm worried .

Most schools and state offices will be closed tomorrow and Wed. Prolly thusday too, as damage assessment takes place.

I just have a bad feeling about this one. If this track holds, i will be in the worst possible spot( just east of the eye)with at least cat 1 winds. I hope it moves through quickly and keeps jogging further east. I'd rather be on the west side.
