I don't agree with a lot of what the celebs say, but I usually don't let it get to me. Hollywood isn't really much of a thing anymore. Movies might have been really big when I was a kid (around 30 years ago), but today, you hear almost nothing about them. My mother still reads some of the tabloid magazines like Star, and I was surprised at how skimpy they have gotten. There's barely anything in them, just a few pages. I've seen local newsletters that are more thick. Yet they want you to pay like $6.99 per issue. Hollywood is nothing now; it's all phony.

They didn't realize it at the time but they destroyed themselves by what they thought was their positive influence to get the rest of us to take the covid vaxx cause 'we're all in this together' bullshit and then sticking their stupid noses in elections thinking they had superior influence.

AND they haven't had a creative thought since the 90s. Everything they do has been done before and better than current. Film and actors have become what they think is deep and they're educating the rest of us to be as smart, deep, worldly and european trashy as they are. (lolol)

It's deeper than the writers of that post, and most of us, realize.

We're coming into a nasty collapse. The classic comparison would be the 1929-33 collapse of the economy - the stock-market crash was only a symbolic trigger; it didn't immediately implode the economy. That took several years of corporate non-investment, then layoffs of automakers and railroads and other large, mostly-new businesses. It worked cyclically - layoffs, drop in demand; more layoffs, then, foreclosures on homes, and then, soup lines and a "Hobo" subculture and the mass move to California.

And of course, at the time, one luxury EVERYONE could afford, was the movies. Everyone had a nickel for two hours of escape, where everyone in the movie was well-dressed, and had hope, and behaved nobly...and problems were resolved in two hours.

That was then. First, we as a public had a sense of morality. We understood good behaviors, moral behaviors; even if we couldn't afford to act on them. People were shocked at the amoral way so many farmers and homeowners were being evicted from farms and homes. Everyone knew someone who lost money in banks; and the reasons were not easy to explain. Easier to just paint bankers as thieves - which is not that far wrong, even today.

But cinema celebrities were the escape - and the standard-bearers to a better world we all hoped to.

Today, we have none such. Celebutards are foul and rude; they behave like animals; they obviously hold us in contempt. Modern movies don't entertain or lift us; they LECTURE us, and push out the false, the deviant, the evil, as true, normal and good.

We're repulsed. Who is that fat woman in the sketch above the article, backdropped by the HOLLYWOOD sign? She's not especially ugly, but she sure ain't movie material. She might be what you hope your young wife looks like at age 50.

I don't need to pay $20 to see that in the movie theatre. I can see it at Walmart, any time I choose.

Hollywood has alienated the public, even as they've destroyed the moral and spiratual under-girding of the culture...with its glorification of situational ethics, of homosexuality and sexual deviance.

As we move into the next phase, with millions of us going hungry on the street, we are not, repeat NOT going to want to go into movie houses to watch that filth. It's not escape, it's torment.

They've used Swift to no avail just a week ago.
