People need to learn to expect this kind of crap and tune it out. Focus on positive things and leave the nihilistic degeneracy to the postmodernist crowd. Ignoring the atrocities of the holocaust .....that's worked out well.  here we are AGAIN.

We've ignored the violence and destruction of BLM and antifa and now hamas in this country.... they are released immediately and go right back to their riots and it is getting worse. Media ignoring that has worked for them...we pay the price for that.

It's an entertainment venue. Not only that, it's an irrelevant one. The ratings for the Olympics have been in decline for a long time. Why else would they make the opening ceremony so degenerate? Because they know people won't watch it or talk about it any other way. It was just another cheap attempt at gaslighting the public, and it worked. Just like it did when they did this exact same thing at the Super Bowl halftime show, the Grammy Awards, Eurovision, etc. You're giving them far more credibility than they deserve.

Now, if they were doing this in front of very young children at an elementary school, then there would be cause for alarm, because kids shouldn't be exposed to that kind of thing. At least with televised sports like the Olympics, you can have the option of not turning on your set and keeping your kids away from it. Same with just about everything else on TV these days.

It's not about ignoring evil and perversion. It's about knowing not to give them the satisfaction of getting you outraged. Evil should not be ignored, but you shouldn't go seeking evil unless you intend to destroy it.

I disagree. I've posted my response and i'll not post it again since we do not see eye to eye on this and neither of us will change. BUT i will say this.

The opening ceremonies are not sports related...they are entertainment in a perverted sense and also POLITICAL...very poltiical. So. if the olympics are entertainment.. why is it in the sports column... the opening ceremonies are defintely not sports unless that obese Barbara Butch who sat in for Jesus in the last supper rendition is going to get up and jog around the outskirs of the ceremonial grounds.

These athletes have worked intensely and tirelessly for years to compete and they should be appreciated and applauded.
