Maine Sec of State removes President Trump from the ballot
citing her reason for doing so is to have free and fair elections. That went right over her head.

I guess every "blue" state is going to try and get Trump off their ballot. I'm not a fan of Trump and it's not like he had any chance of winning these states, but the idea that a government can determine who can or can't run, and defy the will of the voters is kind of scary. This is the kind of stuff you'd expect to see in third-world countries, but this is in America. We have the most corrupt election process on the face of the earth.
Honestly, I'm beginning to doubt we will even have a presidential election next year. The Marxist System will try and do something funny at the last minute to suspend it in the name of "defending democracy" and declare the Potato the de facto victor.

Bellows suspended her decision pending court review, but it was still deeply flawed, as George Washington law professor Jonathan Turley pointed out. He noted it was a "litany of conclusory statements" that claimed to be defending democracy, while preventing people from casting their votes. He also explained how it wasn't an insurrection and the question of whether it even applied to presidents.
Even Rep. Jared Golden (D-ME) said he didn't think Trump should be disqualified without a conviction on the charge of insurrection, which had not occurred so he said the decision was wrong.

The final nail in Maine Secretary of State Shenna Bellows' opinion may come from CNN senior legal analyst Elie Honig. He pointed out how it wasn't a court decision and how Bellows wasn't even an attorney.

Blue states are goingto take turns removing Trump from the ballot and reinstating him before it can be challenged in court. They are just trying to smear him and look tough for their base.

....... the January 6 insurrection “occurred at the behest of” Trump – and that the US Constitution “does not tolerate an assault on the foundations of our government.” ........
Is what Maine Secretary of State Shenna Bellows cited as her reasoning.
Were those people congregate there at Trumps behest?
Would they have been there had he not instigated a meeting
Did he use inflammatory language and rhetoric?

Show me his conviction for insurrection. While you're at it, define "peacefully and patriotically".
