So, Chubb pays $92M to the court on Trumps 'behalf'?
They would have demanded collateral, eg, ownership deeds over some of his properties.
This means trump has not used his own money, he does not have enough cash on hand so has to borrow it.
For this arrangement, the interest rate would be high. Short term, high risk, large amount to a person who is in a bad predicament, is untrustworthy and few companies would deal with him.
He is high risk and if it turns sour will drag Chub through every court he can to stop them recovering their funds.
Financially, very interesting.
