Why does everyone get so much enjoyment out of this burning man predicament.

This is Msnbc reporting and they're gonna give you a biased view...because of course..they LOVE burning man and the attendees.  WE are the laughing hyenas taking delight in the situation.

i rather enjoy it because...i love to see virtue signalling morally superior environmental hypocrite yuppies get taken down a peg or two.

I can tell you why I am enjoying it.

Because I can't afford to go; I never could afford to go. When I was young, I lacked money. Then, I had a job that I couldn't get time off from.

Now I can't spare the energy for ten days of fornication, drug use and drunkenness. That's one way I know I'm old.

So part of it is my Inner Child having a pout. Another part of it is the Puritan within having a Serves-You-Right moment.

Finally, I see what these tech quadrillionaires have DONE to our world - the Surveillance State, the Cancel Culture. If a great wave of alkali mud had drowned them all and burned their bodies beyond recognition...I'd have been loving it.

Between alkaline mud, last year, and now the CDC Improved Monkeypox, for the habits most of them have...I suspect a few of them have had a wake-up call; and a few moar figure now's the time to lay low. After LiterallyHitler and MAGA are banished next year, and we have Glorious Utopia...we can celebrate out there, in our doggy suits, with our drugs and expensive motorhomes.

As things get crazier...such people as those, who relish being over-the-line, are driven to act out in more and more debauched and even insane ways.

This is a literal orgy. The term orgy, originally, was not necessarily something involved with sex. It was a gathering where the norms of society are temporarily set aside. Drinking orgies, gluttonous feasts, fighting displays...yeah, and sex free-for-alls.

What happens when society itself discards its norms and values?

This is the kind of behaviors I'd read about in Berlin in the days before its fall.

Why do people on the right have such a problem with genetic defectives on the left engaging in nihilistic degeneracy miles away from civilization? Are they jealous that they can't get in on the "fun"? I guess there are only so many games of Yahtzee you can play with your aunt Cheryl before the thrill goes away.

"Burning Man" wouldn't be an issue if they weren't reporting on it.
