Some of those criticisms are valid.

But there's too many people who see a camera and have to make themselves part of the story. That's annoying.

There is no escape hatch.  According to Sal, who's got a couple of video channels and has some cred...they could be anywhere in the ocean, from the bottom to the surface.  BUT.  If they surfaced, which in theory they could have done (by releasing their weights) they'd be still locked into that can.  And it's airtight.

THAT should have been a red flag for anyone considering this undertaking.

I don't have a video link but if anyone's interested, I can fish around back for it.

This is correct. There is no way open the hatch from the inside.

That surprises me, As there would be no way due to the water pressure you would be ably to open it whilst submerged , at any significant depth that is. i personally wouldn't be comfortable not being able to get myself out if on the surface

I'm guessing the idea was to make the hatch an integral stress-bearing part of the hull - instead of just a shield for water.

But it's a really stupid idea, and we're finding out why.

Its not a problem until it becomes a problem , Poor bastards, not a good way to go, plenty of time to reflect on your life choices I would imagine , RIP

Not enough time left to save them , they may never find them

well...i guess that is over. the inside environment of this death tube did not make it easier either. I'm so sorry for these people...even the ones who insisted this was safe. They were wrong. Maybe some people wil start to take closer looks at space tourism.

It is said, the coast guard has found a debris field...but they really can't identify it. I just hope it was instantaneous for these poor people.

“This morning, an ROV, or remote-operated vehicle from the vessel Horizon Arctic discovered the tail cone of the Titan submersible approximately 1,600 feet from the bow of the Titanic on the seafloor,” Mauger stated. “The ROV subsequently found additional debris. In consultation with experts from within the unified command, the debris is consistent with the catastrophic loss of the pressure chamber.”
